Giving Back to the Community: Volunteering with SG Cares

Introduction

Employee volunteering

Giving back is deeply embedded in the culture at Talos. Through our employee volunteering program, we engage in meaningful activities that positively impact the lives of others. These efforts not only enhance our sense of purpose but also build a stronger, more connected society.

The APAC team recently partnered with SG Cares to bring joy and companionship to the elderly at their volunteer center in Kreta Ayer, Singapore. The session was designed to foster a sense of fulfillment, as employees contribute their time and skills to support the local group. The team was also presented with an award for Sustained Partnership by Mrs Josephine Teo, Singapore's Minister for Communications and Information and Second Minister for Home Affairs.

“We were looking to participate in a program that allows us to continue contributing. Partnering with SG Cares' volunteer centre at Kreta Ayer has allowed us to fulfill our objectives of giving back to the community by doing something meaningful,” said Jolene Wu, Executive Assistant.

“Engaging with the elderly community at SG Cares has massively enhanced our sense of purpose and corporate culture,” added Samar Sen, SVP, Head of APAC.
